My Diagnoses
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
I’ll be honest — it stopped me for a while. I went through a period of fear, uncertainty, and even depression. I paused my exercise routine. I questioned a lot of things.
But I realized something important: a diagnosis is not a death sentence. It’s information — and what we do with that information matters.
So I chose to respond with action.
I pray.
I train.
I take care of my body.
I do everything within my control to slow this down, manage it well, and continue living fully.
If you’re facing a health challenge of your own — whether it’s a diagnosis, chronic pain, or simply feeling stuck — I want you to know this: you are not alone, and your story is not over.
That’s why I’m sharing my story.
There are millions of people living with medical conditions who feel isolated, discouraged, or as if they’re the only ones going through this. They’re not — and neither are you. You deserve to see that others are walking this path too, and that progress is possible.
And here is what matters most:
Exercise and proper nutrition are the first and most powerful tools we have to influence our health.
They improve strength, mobility, balance, metabolism, brain function, mood, and resilience. They don’t replace medical care — but they dramatically improve how well the body responds to it.
That’s why movement and nutrition are not optional here. They are foundational.
Let’s move forward together.
